Buffalo rounds – These are beautiful silver rounds that are not an official product of the United States Mint and you can purchase these at much lower prices as compared to their legal counterparts, even though they have the same silver content. The affordability of these silver rounds allows you, as a silver investor to add physical silver to your investment portfolio at premiums which are close to spot. This silver bullion was first designed by James Earle Fraser. The original design by Fraser was used to mint buffalo rounds from 1913 to 1938. This round is produced by private mints and contains an ounce of 0.999 fine silver and has a diameter of 37 millimeters. These are sold often in tubes of 20, 1-ounce rounds. You can purchase them individually too. With the help of Buffalo rounds you can add pure silver to your investment portfolio without having to pay premiums that are attached to official silver coins such as the American Silver eagle.

3. Fractional rounds – These are silver rounds that are designed on $2.5 and $5 Indian Head Gold coin minted from 1908 to 1929. These silver rounds in fractional increments are a great way of preparing for financial emergencies as well as gifting friends and family. These fractional silver come as 1/10-oz, ¼-oz or ½-oz and have 0.999 fine silver.
